OBEDIENCE
Obedience is without a doubt the largest division of ACODC. Classes are offered from basics in Level 1 to
Advanced Obedience in Level 6 all the way up to Trial Standard.
Class Timings:
9am - 9.45am: Classes 1-3
10am - 10.45am: Classes 4-6
Please arrive ahead of time so that classes can start on time.
The obedience Syllabus used at the ACODC aims to train you and your dog to be able to perform various obedience exercises. In the later classes, the exercises are similar to what is required in an obedience trial; CCD level at ACODC Class 5 and CD level at ACODC Class 6. Many of our volunteer instructors have trialled at one time or another and are a valuable source of information and tips. For more information on what is judged at an obedience trial, please refer to the rules published at the ANKC site (ANKC Obedience Rules).
